To prepare, we suggest arriving to Mint in cozy, comfortable clothing and hair that has been detangled to the best of your ability. While we do detangle your hair before the experience, excessively tangled hair may impact your total head spa session time. We assess the condition of your hair and your scalp and talk through any concerns you've had.

You will then lie back into the spa bed with a bolster for your knees and a cozy, heated blanket.

We will begin cleansing your hair and scalp, checking in with you on the temperature of the water, followed with massage of the scalp, gentle brushing of the skin and hair.

We will alternate between scalp treatments and hair treatments based on your needs while adding steam to create an atmosphere of relaxation and a soothing reconditioning. You may fall asleep and that's totally awesome!

Aside from an immersive sensory experience and total relaxation, our headspa services involve deep cleansing and exfoliation of the scalp, which will help remove product buildup, excess oils, and dead skin cells. This promotes a healthier scalp environment.

Yes, however, if your hair has hard water deposits and envrionmental impurities, your color may appear lighter or brighter afterward. The products we've selected for our services have been mindfully curated to provide optimum results for our guests.

Yes, but we do suggest receiving our headspa experience between installs so your scalp can receive all of the benefits of manipulation. Fresh extensions are not a good canidate for headspa services as the tension may be too intense.

We are not responsible for any hair enhancements that may slip after a headspa experience.

All of our salon services include an mini headspa experience through scalp massage, a warm towel and reconditioning treatment. Our Melt headspa experiences are best reserved 48 hours after a color service.

Yes! You can experience headspa services before a base color (gray coverage or all over color), glossing or toning services and haircuts although you may need to reserve your services with different stylists. We do suggest our blondes and dimensional guests to experience headspa services apart from their color experiences as timing may not align.

Yes! But if you have broken skin or any site of oozing on your scalp, we will suggest you to seek medical guidance and end our services to protect you as we’re mindful of our scope of practice. We can work with many scalp conditions but cannot provide diagnosis.

We suggest relaxed clothing and shoes that are easy to slip off so you can get as comfy as possible. We do provide robes if you’d like and we will be mindful of your makeup but encourage you to come bare faced.
